Pirates notebook: A few more moves coming soon

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. — The Pirates reassigned five players to minor league camp Thursday, giving them 27 healthy players as they head to Indianapolis for their final exhibition game of the spring.

Catchers Ed Easley and Jacob Stallings, along with relievers Jim Fuller, A.J. Schugel and Jorge Rondon, were sent to minor league camp. Three players — Cole Figueroa, Jason Rogers and Pedro Florimon — remain for one available bench spot.

“There’s still some decisions to be determined,” general manager Neal Huntington said.
