MIAMI — Sunday presented the Pirates with enough internal problems – their starter leaving the game due to injury, a possibly unavailable starting catcher, with a reinforcement flooring it across the Everglades as the game got underway – without them having to deal with Justin Bour. The Miami Marlins first baseman entered the game hitting .184, anyway, with nine RBIs.
By the end of the day, Bour had four hits, including an RBI double and a two-run homer, and six RBIs. His bat drove the Marlins to a 10-3 victory at Marlins Park, ending the Pirates’ three-game winning streak.
