The Pittsburgh Pirates have had some major issues sweeping teams this season, but we’ll get to that in second. First was the 6-3 victory over the Miami Marlins, Pittsburgh’s fourth series win in a row.
The Marlins committed a wild pitch in the first and a big error in the fourth that got Pittsburgh on the board with three runs, and the Buccos then got a two-run triple from Hoy Park, his first of the year, in the top of the fifth. Pittsburgh finished out their scoring with a Cole Tucker single in the bottom of the seventh that scored Yoshi Tsutsugo.
