HOUSTON – The Pirates sent minor-league infielder Patrick Dorrian to the Orioles on Wednesday to complete an earlier trade for right-hander Yefry Ramirez.
Dorrian, who turned 23 on Wednesday, was playing at low Class A Greensboro, hitting .256/.346/.443 with six home runs and eight stolen bases in 64 games. He was signed by the Pirates as an undrafted free agent last summer following his senior season at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla.
