The Pittsburgh Pirates announced on Wednesday night that they have made another waiver pickup, claiming right-handed pitcher Adonis Medina from the Philadelphia Phillies. The 25-year-old has made five big league appearances over the last two seasons. He has a 3.86 ERA, a 1.63 WHIP and ten strikeouts in 11.2 innings. A 40-man roster move will need to be made to open up a spot. More on this shortly.
