DENVER -- A day after picking up infielder Adeiny Hechavarria in a trade with the Rays, the Pirates claimed left-handed pitcher Buddy Boshers off waivers from the Astros. Boshers was optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis. He is just the third active left-handed pitcher on the Pirates' 40-man roster.
