Jung Ho Kang was denied a visa to enter the United States last week, but Pirates owner Frank Coonelly said he believes the team can work out the situation and get Kang a visa.
Coonelly: We believe that the information we provide will be enough for Kang to get a visa.

Speaking Thursday at PNC Park, Coonelly also said Kang’s Korean team didn’t know about his two DUIs prior to one in December. Kang remains in South Korea awaiting a visa after the trial and sentencing for his December DUI arrest prevented him from traveling to join the Pirates.
