Pirates announce subscription plan for PNC Park tickets

The Pirates announced Monday a subscription service that will allow fans to enter all home games from June through September for $29.99 per month.

The plan, called the Pirates Ballpark Pass, charges the user a flat fee for one standing-room only ticket to as many games at PNC Park as he or she would like. Potential postseason games are not included in the pass.

Fans use the MLB.com Ballpark app on their iPhone or Android phone to enter the stadium. Tickets are non-transferable.

There are standing room areas scattered throughout PNC Park, including the left-field rotunda, or fans can sit or stand in the Iron City Skull Bar in Section 101, the Rivertowne Brewing Hall of Fame Club in left field, the Block House Corner Bar in left field, or the Miller Lite Crow's Nest.
