The Pirates have announced their minor league staffs for next season. Here are their minor league managers.
Indianapolis: Dean Treanor
Altoona: Joey Cora
Bradenton: Michael Ryan
West Virginia Power: Brian Esposito
West Virginia Black Bears: Wyatt Toregas
Bristol: Edgar Varela
GCL: Milver Reyes
DSL: Mendy Lopez
Most of these guys are returning to positions they held last year. Cora, though, is new, and he seems eminently qualified for his position -- he was once a finalist for both the Brewers and Mariners' big-league manager jobs, and he also recently interviewed for the Padres' open job. He's served on big-league coaching staffs for the White Sox and Marlins.
