Jameson Taillon has officially been activated from the disabled list and is all set to return for the Pittsburgh Pirates this evening. The 25-year old right-handed starting pitcher has not made a start since May 3rd against the Cincinnati Reds.
Most know Jameson Taillon’s remarkable story by now. He was originally placed on the disabled list due to groin discomfort. However, it would come to be known that he had a form of testicular cancer.
Less than three weeks after having a surgical procedure to treat his cancer, Jameson Taillon was pitching in minor league rehab games.
