The Pittsburgh Pirates made a bullpen move prior to Friday’s night game against the Milwaukee Brewers at PNC Park. Reliever Colin Holderman has returned from a trip to the 15-day Injured List for a right wrist injury. He takes the spot of right-handed pitcher Cody Bolton, who has been optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis.
Holderman missed the minimum amount of time with his injury. He has made 26 appearances for the Pirates this season, posting a 4.01 ERA, a .297 BAA, a 1.50 WHIP and a 28:7 SO/BB ratio in 24.2 innings.
His last outing skewed those numbers a bit, as he went into the game with a 3.
