The Pirates have acquired left handed pitcher Jesse Biddle from the Phillies according to MLB Trade Rumors. In return, the Pirates have shipped over right handed pitcher Yoervis Medina. Biddle, 24, had Tommy John surgery this past fall and will miss the 2016 season. He had been a consensus top 100 prospect from 2012 to 2014, but struggled with control while watching his strikeout numbers dip over the past several seasons.
