Penguins sign Western Michigan forward Glover

The Penguins are making a hard push in the undrafted free agent market to restock their shallow prospect pool.

Ron Hextall on Tuesday announced the signing of Western Michigan winger Ty Glover to a three-year entry-level contract that begins next season. The contract carries a cap hit of $859,000 at the NHL level.

Glover is the fifth prospect the Penguins have added to their pool this way within the last month, following OHL center Jordan Frasca, WHL goaltender Taylor Gauthier, Princeton winger Corey Andonovski, and Michigan Tech defenseman Colin Swoyer.
