Matt D, Murrysville: Why do the Pirates constantly preach “accountability” but never actually practice it? I’m talking about management as well as players.
Paul: This is a question comes up often when the same players seem to continually make the same mistakes. There have been a few third base coaches fired in recent years, but it does seem like Clint Hurdle has, at times, missed opportunities to send a message of accountability.
