There is nobody rooting harder for the Penguins to win the Stanley Cup final in seven games than Neal Huntington and Clint Hurdle.
Two more wins and a parade would ensure Penguins fever would last for almost two more weeks. That’s two more weeks when nobody is paying attention to the mess Huntington and Hurdle have made of the Pirates.
The Pirates’ owner/general manager/manager seem to be more enamored with analytics and the bottom line than making logical decisions to help the team. They seemingly can’t decide if they’re trying to win this year or build for next year and beyond.
