Pirates owner Bob Nutting is selling …
Seven Springs.
The ski lift jokes are officially coming to an end, as the Pirates owner is selling his interest in Seven Springs Mountain Resort – which includes Seven Springs, Hidden Valley and Laurel Mountain Ski Area. The resorts in Westmoreland, Fayette and Somerset counties are being purchased by Vail Resorts Inc., a Colorado-based ski resort operator.
The sale price is undisclosed.
“The resorts truly are a part of the fabric of this region and a critical community asset. I am extremely proud of our stewardship of Seven Springs and its sister resorts, and even more so of all the people we have worked side-by-side with to transform them into what they are today,” Nutting said in a statement obtained by our news partners at WPXI.
