On Wednesday morning, the International League named the All-Star team for their July 11th Triple-A All-Star game against the Pacific Coast League. The Pittsburgh Pirates have three players who were chosen for the game from their Indianapolis Indians affiliate. Shortstop Kevin Newman, outfielder Christopher Bostick and reliever Dovydas Neverauskas each made the team.
Newman is hitting .305/.355/.383 in 67 games, with a league leading 18 stolen bases. He ranks fifth in the league in batting average.
Bostick has been playing outfield exclusively this season. He's hitting .291/.343/.437 in 67 games and ranks fourth in the league with 20 doubles.
