The Pirates were short a position player after calling up Boscan on Saturday, so this move restores a more normal looking bench. As for our old buddy Tabata, he was getting on base like crazy in Indy but has still shown no power whatsoever. For now, he’s just a fill in the Pirates can freely call up and send down because of his horrible contract….
