With their rotation in flux, the Pittsburgh Pirates reportedly are shopping left-handers Jonathon Niese and/or Jeff Locke.
Rob Biertempfel of the Tribune-Review reports the Pirates are looking to deal from their southpaw surplus in order to make room for rookie Tyler Glasnow, who made his major league debut last week against the Cardinals before being sent back to Triple-A the following day.
Pittsburgh also needs to make a roster move to make room for ace Gerrit Cole, who is scheduled to return from the disabled list Saturday against Washington.
