The Pittsburgh Pirates made numerous minor league moves on Monday afternoon involving three of their affiliates.
We mentioned that Nick Kingham left for Indianapolis after his season debut in Bradenton last week. He was officially assigned to the Indianapolis roster today. Kingham threw five shutout innings in his debut, allowing one hit and no walks.
Pedro Vasquez was added back to the Bradenton roster to make a start tonight. He was assigned to Extended Spring Training after his last start. Indianapolis will need to make a roster move to open a spot for Kingham.
Casey Sadler has been assigned to Bradenton and will pitch in a regular season game for the first time since 2015.
