Altoona placed catcher Henry Davis on the 7-day injured list on Friday with a left wrist injury. The 2021 first overall draft pick was just named to the Futures Game yesterday. While this doesn’t necessarily eliminate him from playing in that game, it is not a good sign. He already missed time this year with a left wrist injury and hasn’t played since July 2nd. He is hitting .177/.320/.355 in 17 games with Altoona, after putting up big numbers with Greensboro earlier in the year.
In other moves around the system, Bradenton made some changes, with Juan Jerez returning to the team after a brief rehab stint in the FCL.
