The Eastern League announced their selections for the 2015 All-Star Team, which is voted on by Eastern League managers, coaches, and media personnel. Only one player is named to the team per position, and Max Moroff has been named as the best second baseman of the league.
According to MiLB's official announcement, Max Moroff's strong first impression of Double-A baseball lead him to being named to the team. He is currently batting .298 this season with 24 doubles, five triples, seven home runs, 75 runs scored, 47 RBIs, and 16 stolen bases in 126 games. Moroff is second in the league in hits with 144 hits on the season.
