Bristol was rained out for the third straight day.
-- Adrian Sampson managed to avoid the 1st inning problems that have plagued him lately. Unfortunately, he got hammered later and Indianapolis lost to Louisville, 9-2. Sampson managed to last six and a third innings, giving up seven runs on nine hits and two walks. He struck out two. Brad Lincoln didn't help matters by giving up six hits in an inning and a third, while allowing both of his inherited runners to score. Sampson has an ERA of 8.31 in his last five outings and doesn't look like a viable depth option for now.
