Friday, the first Pirate to take the mound wasn't Nick Kingham. In fact, it wasn't even a pitcher. It was Josh Harrison, who helped fulfill a dream for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, throwing to 10-year-old Aaron Ashby.
"I've enjoyed just being around him and his family, getting a chance to meet his older brother, his little sister, his parents. They're all a part of it too," Harrison said. "Just being able to enjoy the day, his first time being on a baseball field down at that level, was just exciting for me just to see his eyes light up.
