ALTOONA, Pa. — Josh Harrison reached into his locker and produced a batting glove with what looked like mesh wrapped around the back of it. When he rapped the back of the glove with his knuckles, though, it sounded as if he was knocking on a door.
“It was one of the things that felt the most comfortable when I tried it,” Harrison said of the EvoShield-reinforced glove that he’ll wear to protect his left hand. “I think it’ll still be, I won’t say up for debate, but right now that’s what I’m most comfortable with. It doesn’t really affect my grip.
