Josh Harrison returned to the Pirates lineup Tuesday after missing Monday’s game because of right leg tightness. He was hit in the calf with a fastball Sunday and later left in the game.
Harrison will start at second base and bat seventh Tuesday night against the Cincinnati Reds. He hit safely in his first four starts this season, but entered the evening just 4 for 17 (.235) at bat.
The Pirates and Reds will pit right-handers Jameson Taillon and Rookie Davis against each other Tuesday night. Taillon pitched seven scoreless innings in a pitchers’ duel with the Boston Red Sox’s Chris Sale last week.
