Sports Joey: Between the Cardinals pulling out a flukey win total and Arrieta coming out of relative nowhere to be historically dominant, the Pirates look like underdogs to do much in the post-season. Instead of excitement for one of their best teams ever, it's mostly doom and gloom.
Jerry Micco: I think Monday's loss took a lot of steam out of Pirates fans. Get that game, and imagine how crazy this DH would be today. But, all the Pirates can do is try to win as many as they can and let the chips fall where they may.
