Generating offense is a challenge for Class AA Altoona this year. They rank second to last in the Eastern League in on-base percentage, home runs and on-base plus slugging percentage, and their 226 runs scored through the weekend are the fewest in the league.
One man is doing more than his share: outfielder Jason Martin, the only player of the four acquired in the Gerrit Cole trade who is not in the majors.
