Apparently, not everybody’s knowledge of doings in MLB is limited to ESPN’s screamcasts. Jameson Taillon has been named NL Player of the Week for his complete game, one-hit shutout win over the Reds yesterday. He also won his start against Minnesota last Monday, allowing two runs in five and a third innings, fanning nine. In the two games, Taillon has given up five hits and two walks in 14.1 IP, while striking out 16.
Some guy who can’t make up his mind whether he’s a pitcher or a hitter was the AL Player of the Week.
