Per a team announcement, RHP Jake Woodford is back with the MLB squad and is set to start tonight’s game against the St. Louis Cardinals as RHP Kyle Nicolas heads to the 15-day IL. To make room for Woodford on the 40-man roster RHP Ben Heller has been placed on the 60-day IL.
We have selected the contract of RHP Jake Woodford to the Major League roster, and placed RHP Kyle Nicolas on the 15-Day Injured List (retro to 9/17).
