The Pirates took two of three against the Diamondbacks, following a 4-1 win on Wedensday night. J.A. Happ, making his third start in a Pirates uniform, has continued to get better each start, and pitched very well in the game. In fact, Happ allowed just two hits in six innings of work, before handing the ball off to Joakim Soria in the seventh.
The Bucs jumped on LHP Robbie Ray early in the second inning, taggin him for three runs. The inning started with Jung Ho Kang, reaching base after getting hit by a pitch on his left foot.
