Heyward wins national Good Guy Award

Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward is a four-time All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowl player. Tuesday, he added another honor to his growing list of accomplishments.

Heyward was voted the winner of The Good Guy Award by the Pro Football Writers of America. The award honors NFL players for their professionalism in helping pro football writers do their job.

Heyward is the second member of the Steelers to win the award, joining Jerome Bettis, who won the inaugural award in 2005.

Also nominated for the 2021 season were Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin, Broncos safety Justin Simmons and Bengals tight end C.
