The Pittsburgh Pirates have made a few roster moves ahead of Monday’s game, which were expected after the results of Sunday’s game.
Joey Bart was placed on the 10-day injured list with a left hamstring strain. Bart left Sunday’s game in the first inning after landing hard on first base trying to beat out a ground ball. To replace Bart on the roster, the Pirates have recalled Henry Davis.
This will be the third appearance for Davis in the majors this season. The former first overall pick has combined to hit .153/.267/.235 in his previous time at the big league level.
