Tyler Glasnow and Josh Bell made Baseball America's list (sub req'd) of the top 20 prospects in the Eastern League. Glasnow came in at #4 and Bell at #20.
Glasnow pitched only 63 innings with Altoona. He had a 2.43 ERA, .182 opponents' average and 11.7 K/9. His numbers were actually inflated by one bad outing when he tried to come back too soon from an ankle injury.
Bell got downgraded due to his defensive struggles at first base and his failure to hit for power in games. He came on stronger after his promotion to Indianapolis, so it'll be interesting to see where he ranks in the International League.
