then I think MLB data qualifies. From Gameday, 2005-2015, I have over 10 million plate appearances and 16 million pitches, and I’m even approaching a million pitches from the KBO.
I do agree that the teams are likely very lacking in their computing capacity and personnel capabilities. I haven’t had hands on experience with any MLB teams’ computer systems, but I have been interviewed by several teams, which gave me (at those times) an idea of their personnel.
In 2010 I interviewed with AA for the Blue Jays. They did not have anyone at that time, and were looking for one person to do everything (coding, analysis, etc).
