Pirates’ Ivan Nova and Brewers’ Chase Anderson will face off in game one of today’s twin bill. Nova earned the win against the Nationals last week while throwing 5.2 IP and allowing 3 ER and will look to build on that success.
His opponent, Anderson has put together a solid year so far, going 6-6 with a 3.81 ERA and has looked even better in his last couple of outings.
In game two, Clay Holmes will match up against Milwaukee’s Brent Suter who is making his return from the disabled list.
