The 2003 MLB postseason was a pretty dramatic one. Locally, I remember it being noted for the amount of former Pirates playing key roles. That year the Bucs had made a couple big trade — like the Aramis Ramirez deal — with the two darlings of that year’s playoffs, the Cubs and Red Sox.
This year is not that kind of year (thankfully). No team has more than two old Buccos, the most prominent probably being Tony Watson and Charlie Morton, Morton being the one with the biggest emotional pull remaining here.
Also note that this list is of players on MLB playoff team’s rosters, because a playoff roster is a different, official thing.
