Henry Davis has been heating up at the plate in Triple-A.
The 2021 first overall pick entered Friday night’s game in Indianapolis with a .295/.347/.500 line since the start of July, with four home runs. He went 2-for-3 with a homer on Friday, in a 6-0 victory.
Standing out the most for Davis has been his decrease in strikeouts. Since the All-Star Break, Davis has a 16.7% strikeout rate, while still hitting for power, and getting on base at a .343 rate.
This wasn’t the case for Davis all season. He put up monster numbers in his first run through Triple-A this year, batting .
