SAN FRANCISCO — Daniel Hudson felt as if he still had his stuff. Command and consistency eluded him. After walking two batters in an inning June 2 against the New York Mets, and with a 5.79 ERA, he and pitching coach Ray Searage turned to the video.
“We watched some film and stuff like that and realized there was a little bit of a hitch in there sometimes,” Hudson said. “When I tried to fool guys with the quick pitch, off my leg lift, that I kind of stayed on line and was on time a lot more often.
