For the second year in a row, the Pittsburgh Pirates have just one representative on the National League All-Star squad. Closer Felipe Vazquez was named to the team on Sunday night. The game will be held July 17th in Washington DC this year.
Vazquez has a 3.38 ERA and 18 saves in 38 appearances this season. In 37.1 innings, he has 51 strikeouts and a 1.31 WHIP. This will be his first All-Star game appearance.
