The NHL had its annual awards show on Tuesday night, announcing the winners of the Norris, Calder, Vezina, Ted Lindsay, and Hart awards.
Colorado's Cale Makar took home the Norris as the league's top defenseman. Red Wings defenseman Moritz Seider won the Calder as the top rookie, and the Rangers' Igor Shesterkin won the award for the top goaltender. Toronto's Auston Matthews won the Hart as the most valuable player to his team, as well as the Ted Lindsay as the league's best player as decided by the players.
