There was a report at the start of December that kind of flew under the radar, with Dean Treanor leaving his long-held position as the manager of the Indianapolis Indians to join the Miami Marlins as their bullpen coach. The report came from Joe Frisaro on MLB.com, although he said in the report that the Marlins haven't confirmed the move. I reached out to Neal Huntington today, who confirmed that Treanor has moved on to the Marlins. He also offered the following statement:
