Roansy Contreras
It was a weird start to the season for Roansy Contreras. He was originally slated to begin the year in Indianapolis but injuries forced him into a bullpen role with the Pirates.
He pitched as a reliever three times with the major league club, striking out 10 in 7 2/3 innings, pitching lights out for the most part outside his season debut in St. Louis. Contreras even picked up his first major league victory against the Washington Nationals.
