CHICAGO (AP) -- Third baseman Kris Bryant has left the Chicago Cubs' game against the Pittsburgh Pirates because he was feeling ill.
Bryant was replaced by Jonathan Herrera before the start of the fifth inning on Sunday. The Cubs then announced that the rookie star had departed because he was ''under the weather.''
Bryant went 1 for 2 in the series finale. He hit .455 (10 for 22) with three homers and eight RBIs on Chicago's seven-game homestand.
