The GCL and DSL teams are off on Sundays.
— Indianapolis (48-39) hung on for a 5-4 win over Columbus. J.T. Brubaker went four innings, allowing two runs. It looks like he came out because of a high pitch count in the fourth. He gave up four hits, walked none and struck out three. Damien Magnifico followed with three perfect innings, fanning five. Montana DuRapau couldn’t close it out in the ninth, giving up two runs before Tanner Anderson struck out the last hitter for the save. Kevin Newman and Wyatt Mathisen each went deep, Newman’s second and Mathisen’s fourth.
