-- Gage Hinsz (pictured) threw seven shutout innings as West Virginia (44-44) edged Augusta, 1-0. Hinsz allowed six hits, walked none and struck out two. He threw 55 of 77 pitches for strikes. The game's only run scored when Casey Hughston led off the bottom of the first with a triple and scored on a fly ball by Mitchell Tolman.
