— Indianapolis (43-37) lost to Columbus, 8-3. Tyler Eppler pitched well, giving up two runs on five hits and three walks over six innings. He fanned eight. Eppler left with a 3-2 lead, but Damien “Not So” Magnifico got torched for six runs in an inning and two-thirds. Jordan Luplow went 3-3 with a walk. Ryan Lavarnway had a double and his fifth home run, and Eric Wood added his seventh homer.
