Cannonballs coming: JT Brubaker throws six shutout innings

-- Indianapolis got shut out for the second time in three games, losing 3-0 to Toledo. The Indians managed only six hits. Steven Brault made his first AAA start, allowing two runs in four innings on four hits and two walks, with three strikeouts. It took him 83 pitches to get through four innings, which is probably why he came out then. (Brault started slowly last year, so this isn't a big deal.) The Indians fanned 13 times. Others:

Alen Hanson: 2-4
Max Moroff: 0-3, BB
Josh Bell: 0-3, BB
Jason Rogers: 2-4, 2B
Willy Garcia: 0-4
Adam Frazier: 0-4

-- Altoona couldn't come back from an early five-run deficit, and lost to Akron and former Pirate draftee Dace Kime, 7-6.
