The GCL and DSL teams don’t play on Sundays.
— Indianapolis (62-51) blew an early 5-0 lead and lost to Toledo, 7-6. Clay Holmes gave up two runs in four innings. Holmes allowed five hits and two walks, and struck out only one. He apparently was on a limited pitch count, which the Pirates do at times, as he threw only 59. Wyatt Mathisen drove in four runs, three with his seventh home run. (Four different players in the system hit home run #7 today.) Holmes left with a 5-2 lead, but Montana DuRapau gave up five in an inning and two-thirds, with Damon Magnifico letting the last three score.
