The blown save wasted seven shutout innings by Chris Volstad, who allowed just four hits in seven innings, walked none and fanned six. Gorkys Hernandez, Steve Lombardozzi and Gustavo Nunez each had two hits. Josh Bell was 0-4 and Alen Hanson didn't play.
-- Altoona blew an early five-run lead and lost to Binghamton in 12 innings, 8-6. The Curve went with a bullpen game and it mostly worked out well except for Robert Stock, who walked six batters in two innings, resulting in five runs.
